Veneers

Veneers are custom-made “shells” that are designed to cover the front side of the teeth. Made of tooth-colored materials, veneers are used to treat spaces between the teeth, permanently stained teeth, poorly shaped or crooked teeth. Also, veneers may be utilized to cover worn or chipped teeth. Veneers are often utilized as a long-lasting solution to give you the smile you want.

To ensure that we give you the smile you want, we carefully plan out your case. We begin by finding out what type of smile you want. This includes the shape, length and desired shade. Once you have selected the smile you want, we take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are then sent to our dental laboratory where they will modify the models of your teeth with wax. This is now a replica of what you want your veneers to look like. If you are happy with this replica, we will move forward with the preparation for the veneers.

We will minimally prepare your teeth by shaping them in a way to receive your custom-made veneers. After preparation, we will take an impression of your teeth. The impression will be sent to our laboratory so that your veneers can be fabricated. We will then place temporaries on your teeth that mimic your wax model and final restorations.

During your next visit, we will remove your temporaries and try-in your veneers. We will ensure proper fit. They will fit comfortably in your mouth and feel like your natural teeth. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% happy at this point. If so, we bond your veneers in place, giving you that long-lasting, beautiful smile you have always wanted.
